Jack Jack LaLanne, my role model, on his 70th birthday swam 1.5 miles handcuffed and shackled while towing 70 boats with 70 people from Queen’s Way Bridge in the Long Beach Harbor to the Queen Mary.
I think I’ll pass, but on my 70th there should be something I can do to honor his influence in my life. So check out these pictures taken today of the pose I held for 70 seconds. It’s the best I could do, Jack.
Way to go! 🙂
Well done, I can’t do that now (47) let alone when I’m 70!!!! when I’m 70 I’m just looking forward to be still able to stand up & get about unaided. I know a 92 year old man who is still full of life, I was surprised when I first learnt his age. I thought he was only about mid 70.
That’s kinda impressive, really. Just think of all the 17 year olds who can’t even do that.
I’m so impressed! I loved Jack, remember holding onto the back of chair for leg lifts right along with my mother.
Okay show off! But wait – you read a book during the SOUA? You should be forced to stand on your head and watch every boring word Bush says, punishment for voting for that fool –
Gosh I hope I have inherited just a litle piece of my aunt Beda. I am impressed. I havnt tried that one in years! By the way Happy Happy Late B-Day. I have missed you , my computer has been dead until late last night, so not of my choice have been out of pocket! E-Mail me!
